Kids Can't Wait for Early Intervention

Tell Governor Hochul that kids with developmental delays and disabilities can't wait any longer to receive the essential, life-changing services they need. Call on her to join with the Assembly and Senate in including an 11% increase in Early Intervention reimbursement rates in the new state budget. The increase will help ensure providers are there when kids need them.

Not sure what to say? Try this:

My name is _____ and I live in [city/town]. I am a

  • parent of a child with a developmental delay or disability
  • [type of therapist/provider] who works with children who have developmental delays and disabilities
  • New Yorker who cares about children with developmental delays and disabilities

I urge Governor Hochul to join with the Assembly and Senate in this year's budget to address the severe shortage of Early Intervention providers in New York by including an 11% increase in the reimbursement rate. Kids can't wait when they need help with speech, feeding, motor skills, or other challenges. Service providers have to be there when kids need them.

Thank you for your time and for supporting children and families.

Move New York Toward Universal Child Care

Send the message to Governor Hochul and state legislators that child care programs are struggling to stay open and keep staff for the families who rely on them. At the same time, hardworking child care educators earn less than 97% of occupations statewide. NY can fix this by investing in the child care workforce.

Children need care. Parents need predictability. Early childhood educators need professional wages.

Kids Need Solutions Not Suspensions

Send the message to Governor Hochul and state legislators that young students need education, not exclusion. New York should adopt proven methods that hold students accountable for their actions and offer them support while keeping them in the classroom. Let's get teachers and schools the resources they need to keep students learning. We need solutions, not suspensions.
