The Children’s Agenda is always looking for volunteers and interns to help us organize advocacy efforts. We offer opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to develop skills that can build their professional portfolios in many disciplines, including:
Each volunteer or intern is matched with a staff person who will work with them to carve out a project that supports an initiative at The Children’s Agenda and matches the student’s professional goals. Volunteers and interns are also included in staff and coalition meetings so they can learn about the broader work of The Children’s Agenda and our partners.
The Children’s Agenda advocates for effective policies and drives evidenced-based solutions for the health, education and success of children. We are especially committed to children who are vulnerable because of poverty, racism, health inequities and trauma.
