The Trump administration is freezing $10 billion in childcare subsidies to five Democratic states.

While the White House cannot legally halt congressionally approving funding, five states including New York have lost childcare subsidies amidst tenuous allegations of child care fraud in Minnesota.

Rochester nonprofit The Children’s Agenda sends its director of policy Pete Nabozny to ARC Rochester to tell us about the local impact of the funding freeze.
