Jan. 12, 2021 – Parents looking to access child care assistance information in New York can face an uphill battle if they’re hoping to find answers on the internet, according to a new report from The Children’s Agenda. Pete Nabozny, director of policy for the organization, explains what information families need access to, makes the case for offering assistance applications online and responds to Gov. Kathy Hochul’s child care initiatives in the state of the state proposal.
The Children’s Agenda advocates for effective policies and drives evidenced-based solutions for the health, education and success of children. We are especially committed to children who are vulnerable because of poverty, racism, health inequities and trauma.
