ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —
Youth leaders from across Rochester are coming together in person to train for the future.
The group “ROC the Future” launched its Youth Leadership Coalition Saturday, the group met for training at the Avenue D R-Center.
Saturday’s training was meant to be the first of eight lessons, but it’s the only one that will take place in person.
The sessions focus on the importance of civic engagement to solve major issues impacting education.
The Children’s Agenda advocates for effective policies and drives evidenced-based solutions for the health, education and success of children. We are especially committed to children who are vulnerable because of poverty, racism, health inequities and trauma.
