Event celebrates ‘Intersection of Faith and Arts’

The Greater Rochester Community of Churches is marking its 100th anniversary with an event that showcases faith and arts this weekend.
Building Community: The Intersection of Faith and Arts is part of The Children’s Agenda Interfaith Weekend. It’s happening Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Third Presbyterian Church on Meigs Street.
The event includes performances by Telos Trio and the world premiere of a new work by composer Cary Ratcliff. There will also be artwork on display from students in Rochester.
Brigit Hurley, policy director at The Children’s Agenda, joined us this morning, along with Rev. Debbie Grohman from GRCC Faith in Action Network, who’s also a member of Telos Trio.
